Today, Donald Trump chose Heather Wilson to be the Secretary of Air Force. On paper, she is pretty qualified. She was in the air force, was on Bush’s national security council, and while in the House she served on the Armed Service Committee. Read more about her history at Wikipedia.
However, as soon as I heard her name, I remembered it from the Bush administration. She was at the heart of one of the issues in the US Attorneys firing scandal, having been caught trying to use her power to get a case fast tracked. She also apparently started Keystone International to build business relations between the US and Russia, not that that really matters now.
